Under 18' Singles Competition
Two sets of 6 ends (Four bowls each player)

Subject to 64 competitors the following format will apply:

Qualifying Stage - Saturday 13th May 2023

Play will start at 9:30am

Competitors will be placed into groups each competitor playing three matches (subject to entries being received).

At the end of the group stage the competitors in the top half of the group will qualify for the main event on Sunday 14th May, the remaining competitors will be placed into the plate competition on Sunday 14th May. 

Sunday 14th May

Each competitor will play a mininum of one game. 

Main Event

• Last 32 & Last 16 - Knockout - 6 ends with a 1 end tie break if required
• Quarter-Final > Final - Knockout - 7 ends with a 3 end tie break if required

 

Plate Competition - Last 32 - Knockout

• Last 32 & Last 16 - Knockout - 6 ends with a 1 end tie break if required
• Quarter-Final > Final - Knockout - 7 ends with a 3 end tie break if required

 

The top men’s performer from the Main Event will be invited to represent England in this year’s British Isles Men’s Under 18 Singles at Ayr, Scotland, in June. At present there is no British Isles event for Under 18 women.
