Para Open Singles

Held on Sunday 14th June 2026 at a venue to be confirmed within the west of the country. 

 

This event is open to players affiliated to a club in the following counties

Berkshire Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, Wiltshire & Worcestershire

 

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Player Registration Opens at 8.45am

Players to register by 9am

Draw to take place at 9.15am with all players in attendance 

Trial ends at 9.30am 

Start time 9.45am

Players will play up to four group matches on the day.  

Group winners will qualify for the National Bowls Finals.

Sixteen players across the country will qualifiy for the Final Stages of the Para Open Singles which will take place over 16th / 17th / 18th August 2026 at the National Bowls Finals.

 

Format of Play

Regional Playoff - Four bowls each player played to 21 shots or a time limit of 1 hour 15mins (75mins). (Excluding Trial Ends).

National Bowls Finals -  Four bowls each player played to 21 shots or a maximum of 2 hours & 15 minutes (Excluding Trial Ends).
