Competition Stages

Early Rounds - Play by dates

This competition shall comprise of 32 county based areas, each area will play down to an area winner. All 32 area winners will advance to the All England Round of 32.  

Counties with a high number of entries may be split into two areas.

Counties with a low number of entries may be paired with a neighbouring county to form an area. 

All England Rounds of 32 

Area winners will play off against a neighbouring area reducing the field from 32 to 16. 

National Finals - Schedule

The last 16 will compete in the National finals over Saturday 24th to Monday 26th August 2024. 

 

Duplications at National Finals

By entering Bowls England National Competitions you have agreed to the following should duplications occur at the National Finals:

Priority will be given to players in National Championships.

 

Mens Champion of Champions – Medium risk of a clash with the following events:

 

Mens Fours Championship

• Final may clash with the First Round of the Mens Fours

 

Mixed Fours Competition

• Semi-Final may clash with the First Round of the Mixed Fours
• Final may clash with the Quarter-Final of the Mixed Fours

 

Family Pairs Competition

• First round will clash with the Quarter-Final of the Family Pairs
• Semi-final will clash with the Final of the Family Pairs

 

 Balcomb Trophy

• Quarter-Finals will clash with the Balcomb Trophy Final
